The 137th China Import and Export Fair got the offline exhibitions terminated on May 05, in Guangzhou of South China’s Guangdong Province.
It attracted about 288,900 inbound purchasers from 219 nations and regions and reached a negotiated export volume of 25.44 billion yuan, respectively increasing by 17.3% and 3% from the 135th session held in the previous year, according to the data as of May 04.
It was introduced that the emerging markets were the major source of the purchasers of The 137th China Import and Export Fair, 64.9% of which was made up of about 187,500 purchasers from the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, which presented an increase of 17.4% as compared with the 135th session of the previous year. Besides, about 72,400 purchasers from BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) were present at The 137th China Import and Export Fair, which surged by 24.1%, so were about 64,800 ones from RCEP member countries which surged by 6.9% and about 51,900 ones from Europe and America which surged by 3.4%, in comparison with the 135th session.
And 140 industrial and commercial institutions also flocked to The 137th China Import and Export Fair, surging by 17.6% from the 135th session. So did 376 dominant multi-national enterprises, which reached the historical high.
The countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative contributed to over 60% of the exports negotiated at The 137th China Import and Export Fair, while traditional markets kept a stable performance.
4550,000 pieces of products were exhibited, including 1020,000 new products, 880,000 green and low-carbon products and 320,000 intelligent products.
The service-robot-themed exhibitions appeared for the first time at China Import and Export Fairs and became a real hit. 46 advanced robot enterprises of the nation exhibited over 500 types of robots, involving about 60 sub-divisions of the sector. Averagely, the enterprises handled over 300 visits each day.
Brief Introduction: China Import and Export Fair originated in 1957, two sessions respectively happening in each spring and autumn. The offline exhibitions of the 137th session closed, but the online exhibition is going on. It is scheduled that the 138th session would occur from Oct. 15 to Nov. 04, in Guangzhou.
